Manifreshto 14/2 Nimmanahaeminda Chiangmai

Our Story
Manifreshto, a family-owned restaurant in Nimman Soi 5, Chiang Mai, showcases the journey from a small bakery in 2013 to a vibrant eatery focused on fresh, clean, and delicious food. In 2019, We expanded, adding more space and introducing Low & Slow Smoked BBQ to their offerings. In 2023, they launched Twinight, an evening café perfect for family and friends to gather.
The first extension
Our customers loved the breakfast made with homegrown free-range eggs from our hometown, and as demand grew, we knew we needed more space. In 2019, we expanded into the adjacent unit, adding extra tables and a fully-equipped kitchen. This allowed us to create a cozy dining area with indoor air conditioning, perfect for escaping Thailand’s heat.
In response to requests for more variety, we introduced our Low & Slow Smoked BBQ and now offer dinner service as well.

The breakfast spot
In 2018, our father grew tired of retirement and decided to raise hens for their free-range eggs, both for our family and the bakery. It seemed like a great plan, but 200 hens produced more eggs than our small bakery could handle. With an abundance of extra eggs, we decided to start offering breakfast. Our 25-square-meter space suddenly became more than just a bakery and sales area—it became a kitchen too.
The Bakery
Our restaurant journey began at the end of 2013 with a deep passion for baking. We opened a small bakery in a cozy 25-square-meter space within our family’s building. This space doubled as both our baking area and a shop for our family’s farm products. A chalkboard out front displayed the times when our freshly baked goods would be ready. With just three tables, customers could sit, enjoy a bite, and engage in conversation.

Then the pandemic hit
Like everyone, we faced challenges but managed to pull through thanks to the unwavering support of our customers. During the lockdown, transportation issues made it difficult to source eggs from our farm in Nan province. As a result, we reduced our use of homegrown eggs and switched to free-range, cage-free organic eggs from farmers in the Mae Tha area of Chiang Mai.
Manifreshto Twinight
The second expansion was needed as our kitchen required more space to maintain our standards of speed and quality. Unexpectedly, this happened sooner than anticipated, leading us to launch Twinight, our go-to evening cafe for gatherings, in 2023. Now in its 11th year, our bakery has evolved into an all-day breakfast hub and a warm, family-friendly pub, with extended hours until midnight.
